What You Need
- 1 Box of kraft mac and cheese
- 2 cans (about 5 oz each) of tuna, drained
- 1 can of peas and/or
- 1 can of corn
- 4 tbsp of butter (margarine)
- 1/4 cup of milk
- 2-3 tbsp cream of chicken
- extra cheese to taste (optional)
Alright, honestly you could probably make this with whatever kind of mac and cheese you want, I just really like kraft the best of all the boxed pasta/cheese meals. First, Cook your mac and cheese according to the instructions on the box, you know, boil, cook drain... stuff like that.
Once your macaroni has been drained, return it to the pot. Add your butter, cream of chicken, milk, and your cheese packet in that order, mixing thoroughly after each one.
Next add your drained tuna and vegetables the the pasta and stir well. Put it on some medium heat until it is the right temperature of warmness for you. I had to add a little more milk during this process so it wouldn't stick to the pan or dry out. If you want to do this, be sure not to add too much, you don't want your tuna mac to be soupy.
It should look something like this:
